Open Source PHP F.A.Q. Application : phpMyFAQ


phpMyFAQ is a scalable open source FAQ software using PHP and available for many databases like MySQL (libmysql and mysqlnd), PostgreSQL, SQLite, MS SQL Server and MariaDB. It multilingual, scalable, completely database-driven for building a good F.A.Q. system.

You can administrate your users, groups, news, categories, FAQ records, attachments, comments, glossary items, stop words in the password protected administration backend.

It also offers a multi-language Content Management-System with a WYSIWYG editor and an Image Manager, flexible multi-user support with user and group based permissions, templates, PDF-support, Facebook and Twitter support, LDAP and Microsoft Active Directory support and an easy to use installation script.

The F.A.Q. page has some ready-to-use modules like “most popular, latest or sticky questions”. Its look and feel can be customized with HTML-CSS, interface has multi-language support and all questions-answers can be exported as a PDF (with automated table of contents).

With powerful search, users can easily find questions and answers using the search feature with search in all languages or in one category.
